DC Holiday Tea at St. Regis Hotel

One of the traditions my mom started with me when I was younger was taking me to high tea. I remember it being such a cool experience as a preteen and have enjoyed going to teas since. This year I decided I wanted to take my mom to a holiday tea and landed on the Holiday Tea at the St. Regis Hotel in downtown Washington DC.

My Newest Food Ornaments and This Year’s Christmas Tree

It’s back! One of my favorite Christmas traditions is putting up my food themed Christmas tree. I started collecting food ornaments about 5-6 years ago but my collection has really expanded over the last 2 years. Easy Weeknight Dinner: Italian Zucchini Boats

While I enjoy cooking, I severely underestimated how tiring deciding what’s for dinner every night would get while living on my own. While I have some favorite, go to recipes, I’m always on the lookout for new ones to spice up my dinner rotation. Recently, I’ve been looking for recipes that incorporate vegetables and while this one doesn’t quite fit the bill (zucchini is technically a fruit), I wanted to share my Italian zucchini boats recipe.
