I try out and review a lot of beauty products and thought it may be helpful to share the best beauty products {in my humble opinion} as well as some products I’ve been trying out lately! We’re breaking things down by category and sharing why my favorites have remained my favorites.

Best Beauty Products of All Time: What’s Worth Your Money | The Best Foundation
Hands down, my favorite foundation is the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk; the medium coverage foundation smells so good and feels creamy but not too heavy when being applied. I always put a pump onto the back of my hand and then use a full kabuki type brush to apply all over the face. Before I tried this foundation, I had stuck to mostly matte foundations since I have oily combination skin. I figured this foundation wouldn’t be for me since it’s a dewy finish but I was pleasantly surprised with how it performs.

Best Beauty Products of All Time: What’s Worth Your Money | Other Foundations I’ve Tried Recently
- Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundation – Picking this up was a no brainer for me since I loved the concept Rihanna presented with such a wide range of foundation shades. This foundation does oxidize so be sure to get matched in store and then wait a little bit; I made the mistake of having the Sephora employee apply and then immediately accepted the shade. It’s a touch too light for me, but I’ve been able to use it as an undereye concealer.
- IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream – I got this in a PR box and really like the formula. The shade I received is a little dark for me right now, but I think will be a match during the summer. The cream applies well with a blending sponge and has a slightly citrusy scent that I really like.
- DermaBlend Flawless Creator Foundation Drops – Oooo girl, she’s full coverage! You can apply anywhere from 2-5 drops depending on the level of coverage you want with this foundation. I need to play around with this a little more but the full five had my skin MATTE and was definitely full coverage. Stay tuned for an extension of these first impressions.

Best Beauty Products of All Time: What’s Worth Your Money | Best Eye Shadow Palette
Alright sue me, but I’m still rolling with the LORAC Unzipped Palette. This palette really has the right mix of mattes and shimmers and the shimmers don’t have a ton of fallout when applied. Whenever I’m traveling this is the palette, I take since I know I’ll be able to create a variety of looks and it has the built in mirror.

Best Beauty Products of All Time: What’s Worth Your Money | Another Eye Shadow Suggestion
I snagged the ColourPop Element of Surprise palette a couple months ago; I hadn’t tried any of ColourPop’s eyeshadows before and was curious to see how they’d perform. While I do like this palette, I always end up dipping into other ones to complete a look so I can’t say it’s a good ‘one and done’ palette. Personally, I need more matte shadows and I would’ve loved to see some more shimmers versus straight on heavy glitter shadows. Rayon and Sea Stars are two of the shimmers that I honestly could wear every single day; super blendable! On the other hand, three of the glittery shades are super pressed and you have to DIG to get them onto a brush…kind of a pain. However, at $14 this palette is a steal and great if you’re someone that already owns a palette or two that covers the basics!

Best Beauty Products of All Time: What’s Worth Your Money | The Best of Brows
I’ve raved about the Brow Powder Duo before but I really like it better than any other brow product I’ve tried. You can go dramatic or subtle, you can lightly fill or go for a bold brow; this product really gives you that versatility. And since it’s a powder, it’s very forgiving if you mess up. No starting from scratch because you accidentally went in with a heavy hand. GUYS, I just really love this product.

Best Beauty Products of All Time: What’s Worth Your Money | Brow Products I’ve Tried Out Recently
I’ve been trying out some of the Billion Dollar Brows products lately and I have to say I find the really waxy. The pencil is my preferred product from them still and isn’t overly waxy. The universal pencil only comes in one shade which works for me, but if you’re fairer and have light brown or blonde brows it’s going to be too dark.
Sharing my favorite eyebrow products and what HASN'T worked for me. Click To TweetI recently tried out the brow butter pomade and wasn’t impressed at all. I’d been wanting to try out an eyebrow pomade for a while so I was excited to get it, but the product is just too waxy. Part of me expected it to dry down a bit similar to a brow gel but it felt waxy all day. The applicator brush is really nice though and one I plan to continue using!

Best Beauty Products of All Time: What’s Worth Your Money | Setting Sprays
My ride of die is the NYX Cosmetics setting spray. At $8, it’s super affordable {and usually BOGO 50 at Ulta!} and lasts for a good amount of time. This product really helps hold my makeup in place. {But really, I slept at a friend’s after a party and my makeup was still all in place the next morning #blessed} I switch between the dewy finish and matte and don’t see a huge difference to be entirely honest. I like to spray this on after setting with a translucent powder to get maximum staying power from my beauty products.

Best Beauty Products of All Time: What’s Worth Your Money | Another Cult Favorite
I’ve been testing the Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray the past week or so and have liked it but honestly haven’t seen that it out powers my NYX spray. Full disclosure: I have not slept in my makeup since trying this out so I can’t speak to that power yet. I’ll try to remember to provide an update after a full day of makeup wear so that we can see how it compares to my NYX spray.
