Hand up if you start every day with coffee or tea. I start just about every day now with one of my coffee mugs filled with hot tea. I’m always looking at new mugs (even though I don’t need them ha) and wanted to share some current favorites.
12 Mugs to Cozy Up With Click To TweetI’ve been doing really well with not unnecessarily adding to my mug collection; I actually only unpacked a few after the move and have left the rest boxed up to save cabinet space.

12 Mugs to Cozy Up With | What I’ve Been Drinking Lately
I can’t do coffee, but I love tea! Here’s a few of my current favorites:
- BLK & Bold’s Peach Black Tea — my IG friend Heather told me to check this brand out and their peach tea is one of the best I’ve had. It has a very strong and bold flavor and best of all this black owned business donates 5% of their profits to nonprofit organizations to support at-risk youth. I’m almost finished with the two bags I ordered at the end of November and will probably restock and maybe try the jasmine green tea too.

- David’s Tea Buddha’s Blend — this one is a mix of green and white teas that has jasmine pearls and a touch of white hibiscus blossoms. It is available to order through Amazon, but actually less expensive to order directly from David’s and pay shipping.
- Sisters Tea Company’s Peach Melba Tea — Sisters runs a tea shop outside of Louisville, Kentucky that I loved going to. Peach Melba is my favorite of their teas that they actually got rid of and then brought back due to customer demand. It’s a delicious blend of peach, strawberries, and vanilla. My aunt sent me a gift card for Christmas so I’ll probably snag a new bag of the Peach Melba and take advantage of their Valentine’s Day special.
12 Mugs to Cozy Up With | The Mugs I’m Loving Right Now
A good portion of my mug collection are the old Kate Spade coffee mugs. I’ve got to be honest, I don’t like their current ones as much as the ones I spent years hunting down across TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, and HomeGoods stores. I mentioned before that I definitely want to add more of the Evelyn Henson map mugs to my collection, but here’s some others I’m loving right now.
- Black authored books coffee mug — Ok what else could be this perfect for Black History month? Plus it’s like a built in reading list.
- Year of Women mug — Love art that celebrates feminism but I really love art that shows inclusive feminism instead of just being inclusive in having multiple hair colors.
- Leopard visage mug — I love the visage mugs and have been holding out for one with a deeper skin tone ever since Work the Metal had them (and sold out while I debated). However, this leopard one might have to work.
- Gold monogram mug — I don’t own any of the infamous Anthropologie initial mugs which to *me* means that I can justify buying this gold initial mug, yes?

12 Mugs to Cozy Up With | Wearing
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times but I’ve been trying to stick very close to my budget recently. Still, I’ve noticed that giving myself a budgeted amount of “personal spending” money versus completely cutting it makes it ten thousand times easier to stick to the budget. And one of my purchases with my fun money this month was this fun silhouette sweatshirt. It’s part of Target’s Black History Month collection; last year the items sold super quickly so I made sure to snag what I wanted right away.

I’m also wearing my new Nike jogger style sweatpants. These are more than I typically pay for sweats at $60 a pair, but I love that they’re super comfy while also being a bit more elevated than my typical sweatpants. I’d feel comfortable wearing these out to run errands even if I were to inevitably run into my middle school crush while wearing these. Snagged this pair after I went to DICK’s virtual shopping event (more here!) and am already debating ordering a second pair.
Hope you have a wonderful Thursday; let me know in the comments: are you a tea drinker or a coffee person?
