I can’t believe that June’s over and the 4th is this weekend! The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays and I thought I’d wrap up this week by sharing three different outfits you might catch me in and three different ways I like to celebrate.
This year I’m actually working on the 4th, so you won’t catch me out on the town for the evening, but here’s what I’d wear for that occasion.
It was pretty much love at first sight when I saw this skirt at work. The laser-cut detailing really drew me in and believe it or not — I did not own a solid navy skirt prior to this purchase. I have so many visions on how to wear this, but for a July night out to dinner and the bars, I’d keep things light.
This scarf is really lightweight which means it’s not too hot and stifling and also that it’s super easy to stuff into a bag if I start to feel overheated with it on.
Nights out for me typically mean minimal jewelry — less to get tangled with or worry about. I loveeeeeee the Kendra Scott Elisa necklace in druzy and am so happy I got another one in my latest Rocksbox. I love the cheetah print + stripes combo! It’s always one of my go-tos when I’m looking to mix patterns. 🙂

Thank you so much Chelcey! 🙂 I agree – stripes + leopard print is probably my holy grail when it comes to pattern mixing.
