While I share outfit posts quite a bit, I thought it would be fun to share some of the outfits I actually wore last month. Throughout the month I share these to Instagram stories, but it’s a fun way to see what pieces I’m loving and wearing.

What I Actually Wore in December | Pullover Sweater
The purple in this sweater caught my eye when I was browsing online so I was excited to see that my local Evereve store had it in stock. It’s somewhere in the middle of a sweater and sweatshirt, making it effortlessly comfortable. Truthfully, I’ve worn it quite a few times this month; I paired it under a plaid blazer for a first date and wore it another time tucked into a midi skirt.

What I Actually Wore in December | Bright Fair Isle Sweater
I went back and forth about this sweater before ultimately caving and buying it. The bright colors make it something I’ll feel comfortable wearing beyond the holidays and the sweater is a tighter knit — you don’t have to wear a layer underneath!

What I Actually Wore in December | Good American Jeans {!!!}
You’ve seen them a bunch here, but I didn’t really recognize how much I was wearing these until I started putting this post together. This is the Good Waist style and they fit my body SO well. My hips are bigger than my waist so finding a waistband on jeans that doesn’t gape can be hard. These also come in gray and in black.

What I Actually Wore in December | Date Night Look
Okay so the full tea on this outfit is that I sent a picture to my mom and she said it was “too busy.” Since I was panicking about what to wear for a first date, I took her advice and changed into something else but I do love this combo! {Also definitely switched out of these shoes.}

What I Actually Wore in December | Casual Layers
This sweater again! The second time I wore it in December, I styled it more casually with my Spanx leggings. Since the length doesn’t quite cover my booty, I layered the sweater over one of my tunic tanks from Evereve and threw on some comfy sneakers for a day of running errands.

What I Actually Wore in December | Graphic Tee + Bow Slides
First off, sorry for the super dirty mirror. Second, how cute is this French Bulldog tee?! I snagged it while prepping for my J. Crew shopping event last month and plan to show off my love for dogs with it. The dog is wearing a cute bow so I chose to wear my red bow slides to complete the look.
What I Actually Wore in December | Another Date Night Outfit Idea
Another outfit idea for winter date nights includes this sweater blazer that I’ve been loving lately! Here I pulled it on over a gingham button up shirt {one of my go to staples!} and tucked the shirt into jeans with my trusty leopard belt.

What I Actually Wore in December | For Dinner Out with My Family
My family normally goes out to a nice dinner during the week of Christmas. This year we went to Le Moo with some of my family that had come into town for the holiday. This BlankNYC jacket is a blogger favorite and for good reason; I love that the sleeves have a stretchy material on the inside panel of the arms to give you good range of movement. While scrolling Pinterest, I saw a similar combination and ended up pulling my gold, pleated skirt out of my donate pile to recreate the look.

What I Actually Wore in December | What I Wore Christmas Day
Velvet’s been having a big moment for awhile now, but what really drew me to these plaid pants is that the back of the waist is elastic! It makes them super comfortable and easy to wear with everything from basic tees {like I did here} or chunky sweaters.
What I Actually Wore in December | Gray Blazer, Again
I was a big repeater last month, but this outfit looked put together without being too stuffy for an afternoon tea date with the gals in my family.
