I stopped by Oxmoor Center to try some of the Ann Taylor new arrivals and I wasn’t disappointed! While the brand has a more refined look than I traditionally wear, I’ve found that I am able to mix and match their pieces with my closet. And guess what, all full price styles are 40% off right now! It’s the perfect time to give your wardrobe a nice refresh — just use the code WOW40 at checkout.
The fringe tweed jacket
This fringe tweed jacket was hands down the new arrival that I was most excited to try on and I loved it. Featuring neatly hidden eye hooks, this piece can be closed at the front or worn open. The black tweed looked so good with jeans, but mostly I love how this jacket can be worn with most colors — including a ton of the pieces in this batch of Ann Taylor new arrivals. Right now, it’s almost $70 off.
The white shell above is super cute but sheer. Most Ann Taylor {and LOFT} light colored tops tend to be this way; as long as you have a camisole on hand, you’ll be good to go.

The bell sleeve sweater
With side slits and an oversized fit, this sweater is probably most girls’ dream, but made me feel shapeless. The bell sleeves are super cute and of course I love the stripes. I’d pair this with ponte pants or leggings to bring a little more balance to the look.
The classic, black peplum
The fit of this black peplum top was so flattering. I find that most pieces in this thicker ponte like material seem to be very forgiving for me. The sleeves are right at the length that I flock towards and this shirt comes in white as well. This was for sure a winner for me within this batch of Ann Taylor new arrivals.
The bow blouse
Underwhelming seemed to be the word I’d associate with this top when I tried it on. On the website the ties are in a bow, but it looked silly when I tried to do it. While I do like this pretty shade of blue, my arms look like they’re swimming in the sleeves.
Referee stripes, FTW
This was the snuggest top that I tried on so if you’re in between sizes, size up. I felt like a referee but I loved this vertical striped top! The stripes are actually navy and white and it has slight side slits that don’t come up too high.
A turtleneck with lots of options
This turtleneck sweater comes in a few different colors and has so many different styling options. I wanted to share it casually with my jeans but also dressed up and casually tucked into a pencil skirt. It’s comfortable and would look great with a pendant necklace.
The print of this skirt is gorgeous. The colors are beautiful and there were so many different pieces I could have mixed and matched this with. I liked the idea of half tucking a cozy sweater like this turtleneck into it for a mix of texture and pattern.
The classic piped tank
This simple tank features black piping giving it a very classic look. I try to steer clear of buying sleeveless pieces in January but this blouse had me close to pulling the trigger.
Peplums are hit or miss for me. Since I’m thinner at the waist and curve out at the hip, they can be very flattering. In this case the flower peplum doesn’t do a ton for me, but I do love this color!
Leopard love
I went to the store planning on only trying Ann Taylor new arrivals on, but I’d been eyeing this leopard sweater online. The weight was perfect and of course I love a good leopard print.
