Two weeks ago now, I hopped on a plane to Dallas for a volunteer conference. Since it was just for the weekend, I opted to carry on. Today I wanted to share an easy travel outfit plus tips for packing your carry on with Gordmans.

How to Pack Your Carry On with Gordmans | Find a Put Together Travel Look
For me, one of the keys to traveling is having a good and comfortable travel outfit! Before I left for Dallas, I stopped by my local Gordmans store to see if I could find one. I ended up trying on these black floral pants and fell in love. The tie waist and looser fit makes them super comfortable. Knowing that I could roll these into my carry on suitcase and not have to worry about wrinkles was also a huge selling point for me. This ended up being my outfit during the last day of the conference; I liked that it was dressy enough for meetings but comfortable enough to nap on the plane.

It’s no secret that I love a fun pair of statement earrings. I always check out Gordmans for super affordable jewelry and handbags. For this trip, I packed up some of my favorite statement earrings in a jewelry organizer to keep everything in one place and to prevent tangling. One thing I love about shopping at Gordmans is it allows me to try out new trends at a super affordable price point.

How to Pack Your Carry On with Gordmans | Follow a Packing List
Finally the last key to traveling in a carry on is to stick to a packing list. Using one helps keep me from overpacking and prevents me from forgetting anything. I’ve made a printable packing list above that you can print off to help you pack for upcoming summer trips. I like to have everything grouped into similar items so that I can quickly check off what I’ve put in my bag and what I haven’t.
