It’s the first day of the greatest month of the year! I told you all that March Madness is my favorite and today I’m sharing some tourney time style. Most ladies I know have mad love for the closet workhorse known as a tee shirt dress. I’m breaking down the easy peasy way to perfect your casual tourney time outfit.
March Madness Style
It’s officially March Madness style season! Really quickly, I want to thank you all for your kind comments on Saturday’s post about my personal experience with anxiety and depression. Nervous, doesn’t begin to cover how I felt hitting publish Saturday morning. I’ve been incredibly touched by your comments, likes, emails and texts over the weekend and hope that sharing my struggles that I’ve helped to #StopTheStigma.
As yesterday was Selection Sunday {like Christmas Eve for a basketball fan like me!}, it felt fitting to share an outfit that I’ll be rocking this month that’s the perfect March Madness style.

Happy Wednesday and happy International Women’s Day! I hope you get a chance today to tell a fellow lady how much you admire and appreciate her; I’ve shared a handful that inspire me on my IG story so be sure to go check it out before it disappears. Fittingly, today’s post features an outfit I created around my new white tweed blazer that straight up makes me feel like a #bosslady.

Feeling Flirty with LuLaRoe Lola
There is so much goodness in this post — seriously, this is my first LuLaRoe Lola and I was shocked by how much I love this style! Let’s start with perhaps the most obvious thing. I cut my hair! Friday night, my hair kind of tucked itself into my sweatshirt and after taking about twenty selfies, I texted my friend Michelle fully expecting her to talk me out of it — which she didn’t.
My original plan was to schedule an appointment for this week but I woke up Saturday morning and started chopping off my split ends and got a little carried away. Big ups to Mama Green for not completely losing her mind when I popped up and said, “hey can you even out my hair cut?”
Second, like I mentioned this is my first LuLaRoe Lola! One of my favorite online friends, Tracy, is a LuLaRoe consultant {and all around #bosslady} and had Becky, Tif and I each style one of the skirt styles that she carries as a way to kick off the online sale she’s having in her online shopping group that start tomorrow night at 8 EST! To celebrate, the three of us are giving away one LuLaRoe skirt, keep reading to enter 🙂

Ruffle Off the Shoulder Top
I’ve been more than happy to soak in every moment of our spring like weather lately which has meant I’ve gotten to break out some of the new pieces in my closet. The off the shoulder trend is back and this ruffle off the shoulder top has the cutest ruffle detail around the shoulders and also as a shark bite like detail on the side.
