I feel like I say, “what a week,” in every Friday post, but this week for real KILLED me. This week…she was a busy bee. So I’m going to do a quick run down of the week including why I’m rocking dirty hair, share some Friday favorites, and round up what you may have missed lately on WNW.

How to Rock Dirty Hair + This Week | My Kendra Gives Back Event
On Tuesday, I hosted a Kendra Gives Back in-store event where 20% of purchases for the evening went to Blessings in a Backpack. Thanks so much to everyone that came out to say hey and support this great cause. If you missed it, you can still donate to my birthday fundraiser here!

How to Rock Dirty Hair + This Week | Work the Metal Live
Then on Wednesday morning, I rolled down to Work the Metal to co-host their weekly live segment: Work the Metal REALness. We hung out at their new wine bar, drank a couple mimosas, and talked all about fall jewelry trends. I always get SO nervous about live video {Will I pronounce a word wrong? Will I get so nervous that I black out and drop an f-bomb? Will I not realize I have something in my teeth?} but the whole process was fun and a great time.

And of course, I found 3 different pairs of earrings that I had to have so there’s that. SO many good pairs.
How to Rock Dirty Hair + This Week | Drybar X Too Faced Launch
On Thursday, I stopped by Drybar Louisville for an influencer event that they hosted to celebrate the launch of the new drybar x Too Faced Glitter Spritzer Sparkle Spray. It was my first time getting my hair done at drybar; when I got invited, my first thought was, “do they do black hair?” While Google said yes, they don’t feature any women of color on social media so I was a tad apprehensive. My stylist at the salon here in Louisville was incredible so Drybar, if you’re reading this: start talking about the fact that you offer services and your products work on black hair! I am available for campaigns, thank you.

They had the cutest swag bags for us with hair ties, travel size products, and a nifty card for $5 off blowouts for the rest of the year. I’m traveling out of town next month and am already planning on taking advantage & getting a blowout beforehand.
How to Rock Dirty Hair + This Week | My Friday Favorites
If I hadn’t just bought 6 pairs of Nike shorts, you can bet that I would be snagging this cherry pair; they’re 50% off! The feather earrings from Kendra Scott are SO gorgeous; they showed me the fall lookbook while I was at the store for my event on Tuesday and I immediately was like, “yes, I need those.”
