Happy Wednesday friends! Stopping by real quickly to share some exciting news; Evereve opens in Louisville today. The new store is in Oxmoor Center right next to Kendra Scott. I swung by today to check it out, but they’re having a grand opening party Saturday evening from 6-8PM and the whole store will be 15% through Sunday, July 21st. I’m excited to be an Evereve Ambassador over the next year. While all of my posts for that will be on Instagram, I’ll likely share some of my favorite finds here as well.

Evereve Opens in Louisville + 10 New Outfits | Relaxed Mid Roll Shorts
Before the store opened, I picked up a couple items online including these 7 for All Mankind shorts! It’s been years since I’ve purchased jean shorts; the popular styles seem to keep getting shorter and my thighs have always been something I’m self conscious of. But I took the plunge and I’m so glad I did because these shorts are super comfortable and the rolled cuff makes them a bit adjustable depending on the length you’d like.

Plus jean shorts go with just about EVERYTHING in my closet so I’m not sure why I’ve been fighting this for so long. I used them as one of my staple pieces during this try on session and they pair so well with lightweight sweaters for the summer to fall transition.

This burnt orange sleeveless sweater caught my eye quickly because this hue is one that you can wear now and later. It looks cute with white jeans or jean shorts now and under a long cardigan with jeans or under a utility jacket later. Mixing it with a print is one of my favorite ways to style it.

Evereve Opens in Louisville + 10 New Outfits | Chambray Shirt
I -seriously- would have picked up this chambray dress if I didn’t already have another one on the way. I’ve talked about this before but I’m a big fan of getting extra mileage out of your dresses by wearing them as tops. Pull a skirt on over it to get a completely different look or pair it with a bold colored cardigan.

Evereve Opens in Louisville + 10 New Outfits | Green Striped Tank
I’ve been loving Free People’s lace bralette after I ordered one online so I went ahead and picked up the white one too. I love the way it looks under a cami for nights out and of course you can change out the shorts for jeans in the fall. And as for long cardigans? I’ll be wearing my Spanx faux leather leggings quite a bit this fall and winter so it’ll be good to add some longer cardigans to my closet. Chartreuse is one of those colors that you either love or hate. I’m a big fan of it, but Evereve has tons of cardigan options if the color’s not one you love.
