Faux Layered Sweater with Charming Charlie | What Nicole Wore Click To TweetIt’s been in the eighties lately in Louisville so finding a compromise when it comes to what to wear has been super necessary. I love a good layered look, but actual layers are a bit tricky right now. Luckily, this top from Charming Charlie has the put together, classic look of layers without all of the extra bulk making it easy to give off those fall vibes without sweating off half your body weight.

Heaven knows I love a good marled sweater, there’s something about the play on color and texture that elevates it above the traditional neutral sweater in my mind. I’m wearing the small here and could probably size down, so this does run true to size and is under $30.
Marled sweaters are a great way to mix things up with texture and color. Click To TweetI’m officially all in on the choker trend {have my eye on this one right now} but this one is my current favorite because of the layers, length and gold beads. It’s also not itchy which is a big plus. Charming Charlie always kills the accessory game and is super affordable, both things that are really important to me — both as a shopper and as a blogger.
This choker necklace is still one of my favs! Click To TweetThe bracelet that I’m wearing has faux leather pieces with gold hardware; this kind of bracelet seems to be popping up everywhere lately so be sure to snatch one of these at the $13 price point before they’re out.
Pointed flats are a must! See how to style them with boyfriend jeans: Click To TweetContinuing with the fall trends, I broke out these olive flats; y’all know I’m not a heel girl. A wedge is about as much as I can commit to if I’m going to have to be walking for more than a few minutes so finding fun flats it’s a huge necessity for me. These ones have faux suede in olive {such a big color for fall again} and gold studs around the edges. I felt like combining the studs from the flats and the choker really made this classic {and easy to throw on} outfit pretty edgy.
