What a week! Like any week right after a long holiday weekend, I was on the struggle bus for the first half. Luckily, I’m feeling ready to tackle this first December weekend and get my holly jolly on.

First December Weekend | What Made My Week:
- A Kentucky basketball win to end the weekend on a good note. After my traditional Sunday family dinner, I got to cheer on the Cats and lounge around.
- I got a PR package from CND with some of their Vinylux Weekly Polish. I’m a big OPI fan so I’m excited to try it out and compare their system to the Infinite Shine polishes that I wear a lot.
- Sorority reports are all in! Praise the Lord, Hallelujah indeed. Between Thanksgiving break and the finals grind, advising life gets tough; I’m super lucky to advise a chapter alongside great women who have my back and keep me sane.
- Jack the Siberian Husky. Y’all, I about died reading this story! This poor Siberian Husky is up for adoption in Pennsylvania but has been banned from the state of Maryland. It made me think of my childhood dog, Rufus, who was also a bit of a troublemaker. {But so cute!}
- Sawyer Bennett releasing a new Cold Fury novel! Not long after we first met, Tif and I bonded over our mutual love for romance novels and figured out that we both read this series. I stayed up {way too} late Wednesday night finishing Van.
- BONUS: It’s December First which means I get to start my David’s Tea advent calendar! My friend Michelle surprised me with it because she knows I’m an old lady that LOVES to drink tea.
First December Weekend | Favorite Holiday Reads:
- Mini Boxwood Wreath Tutorial | I really want to do something unique with all of my wrapped gifts this year and love the way these turned out.
- Oreo Ornament Cookies | Okay so aside from just being SO ready to listen to Christmas music now that Thanksgiving’s passed, I’m also ready for all the baking. I think these would be so cute for a cookie exchange.
- Christmas Ornament Advent Calendar | Growing up, my mom always hung up an advent filled with chocolate. My brother and I would wake up early and try to beat each other to get the candy each morning; it’s one of those Christmas memories that I know I want to do when I have kids one day. I never thought about making my own advent calendar, but love how cute this would be for little ones.
- Easy Rudolph Brownies | Again SO adorable; I think I may attempt these for my friend’s Tacky Christmas party!
- 25+ Gift Wrapping Ideas & Printable Tags | I’ve done the ornament gift wrap cluster before and everything looked so pretty. I want to try something new this year, but that’s the fallback plan.
