Happy Monday! With fall officially being here, I wanted to share some outfit inspiration featuring this cute bell sleeve top from SheIn that’s just $17 and perfect for fall with the pretty burgundy color and light fabric that makes it easy to layer. I’m hoping to make Four Way Flatlay a semi-regular series on the blog that can inspire you on new ways to style pieces in your closet. If there’s something you’d like to see remixed, please let me know!

My love for vests is quite well known; I’m thrilled that it’s finally cool enough to break my collection out. I love the way that the navy checks look against the burgundy and went a step farther by mixing the buffalo plaid with the plaid of my duck boots. I love wearing white after Labor Day and really like how crisp it looks against these bold colors. My saddlebag is the perfect companion for this outfit that can easily take you apple picking or to the pumpkin patch; bonus, you don’t need to worry about getting your shoes dirty with these boots that you can spray down afterwards.
FEATURED:
This is the kind of casual look you can typically find my wearing during fall weekdays. These denim leggings are so comfortable; one of the things I love about them is that they actually have real pockets instead of the faux pockets that so many stores put of jean leggings. This look really lets the color and silhouette of this top stand out with a simple necklace along the neckline and cognac accessories.

Another pairing that I love for this top is throwing a blanket scarf on top. I chose this one with the simple black and white plaid that goes with almost everything. This baby doll top is long enough to pair over leggings, but I much prefer to wear mine with ponte pants. These ones from LOFT are super comfortable and have a side panel which I’ve found makes them appear more pant like than your typical black leggings. It’s all about what you’re comfortable wearing; I know plenty of women love wearing leggings as pants but I always feel a little insecure so these pants are a good compromise. A simple pair of neutral booties with sassy lace up detail finishes the look.

The final look I put together around this top again focuses on the cozy factor. This sweater vest from Charming Charlie is reversible and slightly oversized. The piece is easy to wear with leggings or pair it with jeans like I did here. Playing off the ivory in the sweater, I decided to wear my long white tassel necklace from Rubenabird and then went dark for the rest of my accessories: a deep brown leather watch and a wine and black leather crossbody from Vera Bradley.
