How’s everyone holding up as we get {SUPER} close to Christmas. Admittedly, I’m feeling a little bit stressed and regretting procrastinating, but I -think- I should finish in time. {Okay, my Christmas cards may get to some people after Christmas but it’s the thought that counts, right? RIGHT?!} Today I’m showing you what was in my December 2018 BoxyCharm box plus 15 gifts for the beauty lover that you can still order and get before Christmas!

Top Gifts for the Beauty Lover + December BoxyCharm | What’s in My BoxyCharm
I usually post a first impressions unboxing of my box so for the sake of full transparency…I wasn’t blown away by this month’s BoxyCharm. The SUVA Beauty palette ($34) is gorgeous with 6 shadows and two highlights but the color story definitely has some similarities to the Grandiose Eyeshadow Palette I received in last month’s box. The Tarte Glitter Lip Paint ($20) is probably exciting to many, but I’m not huge on super glittery lip products. I received the shade Insta Famous.

The Bodyography lip liner ($6.50) was a nice pinky nude color, but since I already own a couple of liners in this shade I’m regifting it as well. I’m planning to holding onto the COSMEDIX detox activated charcoal mask ($30); my skin has been all over the place lately so I’ve been masking quite a bit. The last item in this month’s box was the Powder Room setting powder from Pretty Vulgar ($32). Translucent powders can make my skin look chalky {and I really like my Laura Mercier powder!} so I may end up putting this to the side to give away as well. The variation of the December box that I received is valued at $122.50, but this box wasn’t as much of a hit for me as it normally is. A BoxyCharm subscription costs $21/month.

Let’s address the metaphorical elephant in the room; I love Urban Decay’s eyeshadows. I’ve put the Naked 3 palette in this gift guide because it’s a GREAT price right now and also included the brand new On the Run mini eyeshadow palette. The new palette comes in 3 color variations and each allow you to craft various eye looks. When it comes to getting your eyeshadow to last all day, I swear by their Primer Potion. A great way to get it right now is buying this set that also contains the All Nighter Setting Spray {SO good} and the Perversion mascara {another UD product I have!}

Some other products I can vouch for…The Luxie brush set is a great one. Cleaning my makeup brushes usually doesn’t sit high on my priorities so its nice to have backup eye brushes. The limited edition set was actually in my November BoxyCharm box and has the cutest gold glitter handles. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it on the blog, but I swear by the Turbie Twist. Wet hair is very easy to damage with a towel so the microfiber wrap is a better option.
Top Gifts for the Beauty Lover + December BoxyCharm | The Sets
One thing I love about holiday gift sets is their easiness, but the other is that you can split them up! You can take one or two items from a set to throw into a gift basket or stocking. The Tonymoly face masks are so good {I love the tomato!} and this sale set has 19 different masks inside! To quickly stuff a stocking, grab two masks from the sheet mask set, add in one of these bath bombs {use cellophane or Christmas goody bags to wrap}, & the $5 Avon eyeshadow quad!
