It’s crazy to think that this is the blog debut of my sweater tank; I’ve been wearing it A TON. The orange sweater, along with these camo joggers are great summer to fall pieces. They’re versatile and easy to style when you don’t know what weather to expect.

Two Great Summer to Fall Pieces I Keep Rewearing | About The Tank
Let’s be honest, let’s be real: orange isn’t typically a color I find myself seeking out. In the past, I’ve worried that it won’t go with much already in my closet and that I might look like a walking Halloween advertisement. But when I tried on this orange sweater tank at my local Evereve store, I found that it went with a lot more than I’d think off the top of my head.

Since purchasing this tank in July, I’ve worn it so much {maybe too much?} It works with white denim, jean shorts, and even tucked into skirts. It also has a tiny split at the hips which makes it easy to knot up and keeps it from getting bunchy.
Two Great Summer to Fall Pieces I Keep Rewearing | My First Pair of Joggers
I’ve long had a personal aversion to camo; I love it on other people, but I usually feel like an extra in the Survivor music video when I try it. So when I saw these camo jogger pants when my mom took me birthday shopping, I expected to try these on for size and get the black. As it turns out, one of my birthday gifts would be a more open mind in the form of these camouflage print pants.

These joggers are slightly cropped and have an elastic waistband. Y’all why did I wait so long to get on the jogger train? She loves an elastic waistband! These have fully functional pockets and have washed up very well. And like I mentioned, they come in solid black as well as a chambray. Both options are tempting.
Two Great Summer to Fall Pieces I Keep Rewearing | Rounding Out the Look
This layered necklace from J. Crew is something I picked up in the spring and have gotten a ton of wear out of. Having the layered look built in makes things very easy and this works well with boatneck tees, graphic shirts, sweaters, and dresses with high necklines. {PS. If you’re local, mark your calendar, I’ll be hosting an in-store shopping event with J. Crew at the Paddock Shops on September 26th!}

Hair accessories are still having a HUGE moment; I snagged this yellow knotted headband from the new Macy’s Backstage location inside Macy’s at Oxmoor Center. The yellow will be a fun accent color to play with this fall. Headbands are also GREAT on days when you have a ton of product in your hair near the end of a wash cycle.

Finally one of the things that I’m loving about jogger pants is how well they pair with casual shoes. They’ll go with my sandals, mules, and wedges, but I can also wear them with comfy sneakers for running errands.
