One of the coolest thing about blogging is getting to connect with new brands. Cuddy Studios cuts fabrics, creates patterns with the fabric scraps and then digitally prints them onto clothing. I picked out this abstract button down because the design forms a ton of hearts. A heart print shirt seemed fitting to style this close to Valentine’s Day especially since we’re doing our monthly How I Style It with a focus on date night looks.

So here’s the skinny:
First off, excuse the white blurs — it was snowing while I shot these photos! My heart print shirt from Cuddy Studios has gold buttons all the way down the front. The various shades of pink in this blouse are beautiful. I went with a loose tuck into my skinny jeans and then threw on this burgundy bomber jacket. Burgundy and pink can seem like an intimidating pairing but they pulled together well here. I have a tan bomber jacket that I loved rocking this fall, but wanted to add a fun bomber to my closet. This burgundy one is nice and thick to keep you warm, features gold hardware {including a zipper on the sleeve} and has a satin lining.
More details please:
I immediately knew that I wanted to make this casual date night look official by tucking my lipstick in my new leather wristlet from Vera Bradley. The quilted leather piece has a front zip pocket that works perfectly for me to tuck my keys or phone away. My favorite thing about it is the bold color. It’s easy to work into your Valentine’s Day look now and also rock through spring and into summer.
