I had such a jam packed weekend. The worst part was knowing that it was going to be crazy and still not being able to pull myself out of bed on Sunday to have some “GSD, me time” prior to the craziness starting. But – I’m feeling great on the real life productiveness front even if I’m feeling a little stir crazy on the blog life front.
thredUP is constantly updating their inventory of gently used items {they feature stores like Gap, J Crew, LOFT, Banana Republic as well as designer items from Kate Spade, Coach, Vince, Tory Burch, Lilly Pulitzer, etc.} so definitely sign up and get your free $10 shopping credit, fill out your profile with your sizes and favorite stores, and keep checking back if you don’t see something right away!
I’ve yet to get a designer score from thredUP but usually check the site once a week.
I’m hoping to put my vests up before too long, but I snagged this bright yellow one as part of an end of season clearance deal and think the brightness makes it a little more “springy” than the other options in my collection.
This is prime time to stock up on tights; I rip through {what feels like} a pair a week during the winter so buying all different colors and patterns while they’re on major end of season clearance for $2-$5 is pretty much a no brainer.
This tote has pretty much become my every day work bag because of how easy it is to throw in everything I own/may possibly need throughout the day. I’m usually toting around a full sized notebook, at least one small notebook full of sorority advisor notes, a travel pack of tissues {hello allergy season, I did not miss you}, pens, a highlighter, sticky notes, a planner, a drink, snacks, possibly lunch, my wallet, keys, phone, phone backup battery {it’s been an actual lifesaver lately as my battery has been back and forth}, umbrella {#KentuckyWeather}, lipstick, medication, lotion and so on. It also would be the perfect size for traveling so I’m pretty sure you’ll be seeing this tote A LOT in the future.
I’ve been using a couple new beauty products this month and just wanted to share some thoughts on them; the Stila eyeliner is super easy to use. I love how precise it allows me to be and that it’s super black. It does come in a pretty wide variety of colors. I’ve talked about the ColourPop Satin formula before, but again I absolutely love that the colors are SO pigmented, available in a pretty wide variety and only $6. They do require liner for sure, ColourPop has many options, but I haven’t tried them yet. I do love Tarte’s lip liners and recently picked up the newest lip liner they have in Thirsty.
Seriously though…how perfect is this sweatshirt for girls night and/or watching Scandal on TGIT?
Not even going to lie about it, I want to wear this sweatshirt every single day because it’s SO comfortable and also super cute.
Mussel and Burger Bar remains my absolute favorite place to get a burger in Louisville. Yes, I always leave feeling overly full but it’s always completely worth it.
I really didn’t NEED these lilac Hunter boots, but when I saw my local Clothes Mentor post that they had gotten them in my size, I slept on it before calling them {before opening oops}, having them put them on hold and then going to check them out. At $50 {compared to $150}, they were a good deal and after washing and oiling them twice, the wear on them is pretty minimal.
