Ok before we start this post off, have y’all seen this video? I’ve, hand to God, been showing it to each and every single one of my friends and family members. So many genuine belly LOLZ. Go watch now and then come back.
Did you watch? Alright, now we can move onto the Instagram roundup. I’m trying to remember to hit these at mid-month and end of month so we don’t get too lengthy as I’m definitely an #overgrammer -insert hand up sassy emoji here-
Starfish cuff, 5ever. Despite that fact that I’ve already been on a 2.5 week vacation this summer and then taken 3 additional weekends off (for real, who am I?), I’m having a real itch to get to the beach. The idea of a winter cruise gets more and more appealing every day.
No matter what I do, I always end up staying up late the night before I have to get up early for work and am forever trying to find an outfit that’s comfy, cute and easy to throw on as I put all my makeup in a bag and attempt to do it in the car.
I love, love, love the material of this tee — it’s a very lightweight sweatshirt feel that makes me not feel like mourning getting out of my bed. Win, win.
I’d admittedly shoved this maxi into the back of my closet after I got back from Europe because I’d worn it so much, but there’s something so nice about them during the heat of summer. Flowy, but still a little more coverage than the summer uniform of shorts and a tee/tank.
This zebra shirt immediately called out to me: The fun shoulder detail looks really cool with a black cami underneath. It does run true to size; I’m usually an XS, but this retailer doesn’t offer extra small. Being that it’s produced internationally, I assumed it would run small and figured a small would be perfect, but it is a bit big on me.
Navy and white are one of my ideal color pairings for summer; I love the contrast of the two neutrals.
I finally found a cargo vest after the popular style seemed to elude me within the price range I was looking for. This is the girl’s large and fits the way I prefer, fitted and without too much excess fabric at the waist.
The Elisa necklace holds a special place in my heart, at this point. It’s the perfect size and length for layering with a larger and/or longer necklace, comes in a great variety of colors (currently loving on these two druzy options) and isn’t crazy expensive, at $42, when you purchase through Rocksbox and use your $10 monthly credit. Interested in the Netflix of jewelry? Sign up with code whatnicoleworexoxo and you’ll get your first month free of charge with no commitment.
Always down for a little remixing so here’s the zebra blouse again. This shirt is so fun to subtly pattern mix with.
Did you catch this post? I teamed up with Adorn Apparel, a Jacksonville based boutique, to show you a look with two of their pieces. If you’re in the Jacksonville area, you can contact them to set up an appointment to shop their showroom.
And in case you’re thinking that this skirt is AWESOME, but hey summer’s gonna be over soon — it’s so versatile and will be a great piece to transition into fall. Also, it comes in black and mint. Options.
If you haven’t tried the Cotton Candy Frap yet, please do. It’s caffeine free (HOLLA) and deliciously sweet.
Gifting is one of my favorite things in the entire world. If there was a way I could become a personal shopper that put together gift baskets, I would in a heartbeat. Personalizing things and selecting things for someone that you know they’ll like is one of the many strange things that I love doing.
Who else has already started their Christmas shopping? (I’m already working on stocking stuffers and keeping my eyes peeled for killer sales.)
The laser cut detailing on this skirt is awesome and navy is my jam for life. I’m ashamed to admit, I was at one time a navy hater.
I’d been debating this skirt for days, but am happy to share that I finally pulled the trigger and bought it.
These pictures were so much fun to take but I ended the shoot sweating profusely. Kentucky summer, I’m over you. (I won’t be when it’s cold as all get out and there’s ice and snow everywhere though)
Y’all. This marble print has been an obsession ever since I saw Shelby of Glitter & Gingham carry one of the MAB totes in the print. Before I could decide if I really, really wanted it, everything was sold out. Lo and behold, last week I get my daily email from Nordstrom Rack letting me know they’re running an online Rebecca Minkoff sale with Hautelook. I jumped on my MacBook, thinking I would order a Large MAB tote and everything was selling out just as I clicked on the page. As I frantically scrolled, you think I’m kidding but I’m not, BANG the cross body in the marble showed up. Once again, I clicked and someone had already put it in their online cart. As I muttered a million and one profanities, I came across the Leo Clutch. I clicked as fast as I could and put the little bugger into my cart without looking at dimensions or anything of the sort.
Fast forward to this week when I open a box, grimace at the size of the Mini MAB tote — I’m over any bag that I can’t fit my Lacey wallet into — and then fall even more in love with this clutch. A happy ending.
Will I ever quit this shirt? Only time will tell.
And that’s the second half of my July (according to Instagram)! Are you following me? Let’s be friends!
