The last thing I really needed was a new blanket scarf, but when I found this deal on LivingSocial for $12.99, I couldn’t pass it up. These scarves are SUCH good quality, super soft, not itchy and squares which makes them so much easier to tie and wrap. I love the mint accompanied with more traditional fall colors in this plaid, because of how versatile it makes the accessory.
I’m still warming up to this scarf — when I first got it in the mail, I felt very mehhh about it. The grays in it are really pretty and I think there’s definitely some ways to make coral work in fall.
This swing sweater top was one of the pieces that has been what I needed during this weird summer to fall transition. When I wake up, it can be in the thirties, but by mid day it’s 70-80 degrees outside. Having lightweight sweater tops that I can layer over with scarves, vests and jackets has been key.
Did you catch this post? This year’s Halloween party favor type gift was super easy and not crazy on my wallet (always a plus in my book). Thank you Target Dollar Spot for always helping a sister out. I’ve linked a pack of scalloped popcorn boxes that are perfect for a Halloween party; they come in a pack of 36, but if you only need a few, Target’s your place.
I loved the way these cognac boots looked over my white jeans and couldn’t resist taking my new Rebecca Minkoff bag for a spin. Leopard always, right?
Let’s be real – blue is always my fave. Mixing things up is always fun to me and this combination of classic prints: gingham, plaid and leopard, doesn’t dissapoint.
For Big Blue Madness, I went for comfort since I’d already spent the day on my feet at work. The most comfortable shoes I own are these Nikes. A plaid shirt tied around the waist and over a UK tee seemed like the best way to bring that I’m casual AND I’m cute attitude.
I’ve been having so much fun improving my flatlay skills lately. I always love to see color, texture and pattern in my outfits and flat lays are a way to quickly do this and not deal with changing outfits a million times to “get it just right” (anyone else do this or just me?)
My friend Heather finally gave me the courage to cut my blanket scarf in half and it’s been awesome since then. I ordered two of these comfy scarves off Living Social — the deal is still live and just $14.99 plus shipping 🙂
This shirt is one of my very favorites to pattern mix with because of the polka dot cuffs and buffalo plaid body.
I’m majorly struggling to not carry this purse every single day because do you see it?! So cute. 100 percent obsessed with the pattern and cute little size PLUS it has that essential (to me) crossbody strap.
Obsessed with an easy and comfy look for a rainy day. Leggings, Hunter Boots and a tunic are perfect for this.
