Okay, so I know I said last week was the end of fall posts, but I found these photos on my computer and realized I forgot to share this post! It does fit into the holiday theme {kind of} because I’m talking about a local small business that has some great gift options for the Kentuckian and/or the Southerner in your life. Kentucky for Kentucky started to tell the world how much the beloved Commonwealth rocks and also creates a ton of original gear.
Looking for Southern or Kentucky inspired gear? @KYforKY has you covered: Click To TweetI was lucky enough to snag this B’ALL tee just in time for my favorite season: basketball season! I’m sharing two ways to wear your favorite school spirited tee to take in college hoops.

Kentucky for Kentucky | Knotted Up Tee
I purposely went up a size up in this tee so that I’d be able to knot it. The oversized look is so comfortable, which is really what I’m going for when I’m watching basketball. When I rock a casual tee and jeans, I try to incorporate some fun accessories, like these blue statement earrings I snagged from Work the Metal. They’re super lightweight and tie in my teams color without being the typical school logo earrings.

Kentucky for Kentucky | Dressed Up
“But Nicole, what if I don’t want to wear my tee with jeans?” I hear you, and I raise you: the tucked into the skirt. Again, super easy to style with pieces {probably} already in your closet. The slightly oversized tee looks best tucked in to give it some shape but still is insanely comfortable to move around in. Accessory wise, I’m rocking the Kendra Scott necklace that y’all know I rarely take off. {It would be an awesome Christmas gift for the ladies in your life and it comes in a TON of colors!} I’m also carrying one of my leopard bags; this one from Rebecca Minkoff is the perfect size for sporting events and concerts.

Kentucky for Kentucky | Dansko Cozette Slip On Sneaker
The most comfortable shoes that I own are a pair of sneakers, but I don’t wear them all that often because they’re neon orange. {Fun for the gym, not so much for every day.} I was pretty pumped to get these slip on sneakers because of the comfortable reputation that Dansko shoes have. These sneakers have a lot of support and make your feet feel good while wearing them which is pretty much a win-win.

What I like about this look is that you’re dressed for the occasion, but you still look chic in your b’all tee.
