Trying Out the Fall Napa River Grill Menu | All About Appetizers
The new appetizer on the fall/winter 2019 menu for Napa River Grill is the Baked Goat Cheese. The cheese is baked and served with in-house made bread and a side of fig cherry jam. Other starters on the menu that I love include: the traditional chickpea hummus, baked shrimp scampi {FAVE}, and the Ahi Nachos.

This sourdough bread was delicious and the perfect starter for a group dinner.
Trying Out the Fall Napa River Grill Menu | New Salads
There’s two new salads on the fall menu but I really loved the new Wedge Salad. It’s topped with pickled onion, a hard boiled egg, and candied bacon. The bacon is -insanely- good and you can even add shrimp or chicken to this salad! Probably going to swing by for lunch soon just for this.

I didn’t actually try the Vietnamese Salad but the gals next to me at the tasting raved about it. Definitely something to add to my list to try next time I’m in Westport Village!
Trying Out the Fall Napa River Grill Menu | Entrees
The Pan Roasted Chicken was my favorite of the new entrees that I tried but the Steak Frites were also delicious. The chicken is served with foie gras creamed corn that is SO. DANG. GOOD. Napa River sources most of their ingredients locally including the chicken which is brought in locally from Joyce Farms.
Loved the Steak Frites mostly due to the potatoes that they’re served with. {Pretty sure you can also order these cheddar potatoes au gratin as a side!}
Trying Out the Fall Napa River Grill Menu | Dessert
And of course we can’t forget my favorite part of the meal. Dessert! We tried three new desserts: the blueberry pie creme brûlée, the cinnamon roll bread pudding, and the neapolitan cake. All three are worthy of their own individual trip but I think the bread pudding topped my list. I’m a sucker for any and all cinnamon things.

All of the food I got to try was delicious and they were thoughtful enough to pair everything with wine. If you stop in and aren’t sure which wine to pick, they are great at helping you out. {Plus their cocktail menu is really good as well!} Can’t say enough good things about this local restaurant — be sure to check them out. There’s plenty of great shopping in Westport Village that makes it a fun weekend destination.
