Best Novelty Prints | What’s the Skinny?

My personal style can best be described as fun and full of color.  I’m always looking for new prints, textures and pieces that will start conversations.  That’s why I’m such a fan of novelty prints and items.  Novelty items grab attention and are great conversation starters.  For this post, I picked a wide variety of pieces that range from novelty prints to pieces both large and small.  I wanted to show that novelty items don’t have to be loud or over the top and are easy to work into your wardrobe even if you’re someone that’s not into prints!

Now, if you ARE into novelty prints, that’s wonderful!  My first two looks feature fun prints that I couldn’t resist.  The first is my cherry print dress from Draper James; I knew I had to have this piece before I even set foot in the store.  Draper James always has super cute novelty print pieces…like this umbrella print dress!  Looking for something small to start out with?  This cactus print, off the shoulder blouse is adorable.

Best Novelty Prints | Devil’s in the Details.

This year, I’ve been really into novelty handbags.  I’ve been able to add a lot of purses to my collection that stand out with their unique shapes and colors.  Kate Spade has so many fun, novelty purses; be sure to check your local outlet store!  I typically am able to find great deals by checking there.

Vera Bradley really hit it out of the park this summer by introducing a collection of fruit items that ranged from beach bags to espadrilles and even a few leather pieces!  Pieces from this collection are now on sale so be sure to check that out as well.

    I really love bring, novelty prints for Summer. This post has made me so sad that we’re currently experiencing Winter here in Australia. I adore all of these outfits, but I think my fave would have to be the first one (and those checkered shoes!!!!)
