Can I be super honest? I find getting dressed for winter after the holidays very depressing. There’s so many layers to remember to put on, there’s coats, there’s my poor circulation, you look like a bloated version of the Michelin Tire man all the time — it’s all bad. I know some people’s personal style thrives this time of year, but for me I typically find that all I want is to stay in bed until springtime. Luckily I aded this off the shoulder sweater to my closet and its made getting dressed more fun.

SHOP MY FAVORITE SCARVES:
I snagged this off the shoulder sweater on a whim from LOFT and it’s made getting dressed more fun during the cold days we’ve had over the holidays. I wore it to Sunday brunch a couple weeks ago and not only was it super comfortable, it also looked great under my houndstooth coat from this post.
Lately I’ve been staying warm but keeping layers minimal by reaching for pieces like my over the knee boots, a beanie and even a blanket scarf. It’s finally been cool enough for me to justify wearing mine. I’ve linked up to some of the scarves I love & have an eye on up above!
