Go ahead and get ready to see this pastel dress again on the blog this spring. I know this dress will be perfect to style for Kentucky Oaks and Derby and the variety of shades in this print make it worthy of a repeat. But for right now, it’s a great nominee for my Easter 2018 dress as well as the perfect “Welcome Spring!,” outfit for the blog. Keep reading for more spring bucket list.

How to Egg Hunt in Style: Flattering Pastel Dress | What I’m Looking Forward to This Spring
Spring is SO close to finally being here so I thought I’d share a spring bucket list of some of the things I want to do this spring; hopefully I’ll be able to cross a lot of these off the list before summer hits.

How to Egg Hunt in Style: Flattering Pastel Dress | Spring Bucket List
- Go to Keeneland // I’m a bad Kentuckian in that I’ve never been to Keeneland – even when I lived in Lexington!
- Get outside even though allergy season is horrible in Louisville
- Go to the gym 3 days a week to get more energy for summer
- Hit up one of the local food festivals // Currently have my eye on the Louisville Taco Festival!
- Book some long weekend trips for summer!
- Hit up 4 new restaurants // I already know I’ll have at least one that I can cross off this list soon!
- Go to Thurby, Oaks, or Derby // This one may be a little tough this year as I’ll be out of town for Thurby and Oaks.
- Try out 4 new recipes
- Write a spring lipstick post // Lip swatches sound like a great way to dry my lips all the way out but I know are so helpful!

How to Egg Hunt in Style: Flattering Pastel Dress | The Dress
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Draper James’ clothes. To me they’re the perfect combination of feminine and practical & I love that Reese Witherspoon’s line embraces color and prints. For spring, I picked out the Hyacinth Floral Love Circle Dress, because I loved the colors in this pastel floral print and also because this cut is SO flattering. Fit and flares are legit my jam which is why the Love Circle Dress can do no wrong in my mind.

How to Egg Hunt in Style: Flattering Pastel Dress | How to Wear Now and Later
Since we’re still having chilly days in Kentucky {writing this while there’s snow on the ground}, I plan on wearing the dress with my white blazer or a jean jacket. I know that I’ll be able to wear this pastel dress past spring & through summer – it’s a great dress for wedding season.

How to Egg Hunt in Style: Flattering Pastel Dress | The Accessories
I love delicate, short necklaces; they’re perfect for layering with pendants or rocking solo depending on your neckline. I picked up this howlite one a couple years back from Francesca’s and have gotten so much wear out of it. The marble looking stone goes with just about everything. I knew I wanted to wear some fun statement earrings so I pulled out these baby pink tassel earrings. Part of what makes this pastel dress so fun is that you can accessorize from so many complementing colors; baby blue, forest green, white, etc. Finally to tie the look together, I pulled out my blush block heels from Chinese Laundry. These heeled sandals are so comfortable and surprisingly easy to walk in too.

Okay, this is the perfect Oaks dress! Can’t believe you’ve never been to Keeneland. I actually prefer Churchill because Keeneland is too small to hold the crowds! Can’t wait for that lipgloss to be released because I’m obsessed with the color!
