I don’t care if the groundhog saw his shadow this morning, I’m ready for spring! This pattern mixing top from My Sister’s Closet Boutique combines two fun prints: stripes and florals.

PATTERN MIXING WITH MY SISTER’S CLOSET BOUTIQUE | IN THIS POST:

So what’s the skinny on a pattern mixing top?
This top immediately spoke to me with the navy and white striped sleeves and fun floral body. Throw a jacket over it now to stay warm and wear it alone once spring finally arrives. Since this top is it’s own statement, I paired mine with a fun pair of skinny jeans and a brand new necklace. This gold dipped arrowhead necklace is stunning; the necklace features off white, gray and blush beads making it the perfect neutral piece. I also wore these druzy earrings from Fabulina — they immediately grabbed my attention since they “thread” through the ear.
Devil’s in the details:
This pink leather clutch from Things Remembered has been marked down to $58! It comes in five different colors, with a dust bag and is a great way to add some color to a neutral outfit. I’m a big fan because it matched perfectly with my new lipstick and nail polish. I added to my pattern mixing by wearing leopard print loafers {they’re like a neutral!} and my polka dot sunglasses from J. Galt Eyewear.
