Spring has sprung in DC. The beginning of April meant taking in all of the blossoms from cherries to magnolias and ornamental plums too! Between the warmer weather and getting my second dose of the vaccine, I’m feeling optimistic about the season of renewal. A couple weeks ago, I picked up this peachy keen midi skirt. Can’t seem to get enough of bright colors this spring.

Peachy Keen in Time for Spring | On My Spring Bucket List
To be completely honest, I’ve been making good progress on my spring bucket list so far. Here’s some of what I want to be sure to do.
- Enjoy peak bloom of cherry blossoms [X, the beauty of having trees in my front yard!]
- Check out a new to me vineyard [X, got to relax at Muse Vineyards with Alicia]
- Get vaccinated [X]
- Explore Old Town Alexandria
- Plan a long weekend trip
- Take a day trip to Annapolis
I’m sure I’ll continue to think of more things to add onto the list, but I really am so happy for warmer weather and less restrictions as more of us get vaccinated.
Peachy Keen in Time for Spring | Other Ways to Wear It
This oversized, stripe tee is very soft and is easy to throw on with your favorite jeans. (I’m partial to doing a half tuck and adding a belt.) The coral skirt is also spring perfection. Already planning on wearing it with my go to chambray shirt tucked in & even wearing it with a basic t-shirt and my jean jacket.

I picked out this combo for a lunch with Alicia, Ashley, and Lauleh, but ended up switching into jeans and a jacket at the last minute because it was VERY cold.
Still this bright peach midi skirt feels very cheerful and I love that the striped top is a perfect color match. This long sleeve tee is currently on sale for $8, comes in a few different colors, and is comfortably oversized if you’re easing back into wearing real clothes. (I 100% am struggling with putting on anything fitted right now!)
Finally, I tied the look together with this fun rancher hat. The lighter color contrasts with my hair and feels like a good transitional accessory.
