Graduating to the Next Level of Style with Francesca’s

May 25, 2017

{This post is sponsored by Francesca’s!  Thank you for supporting the brands that allow me to pursue What Nicole Wore.  All opinions shared are my own.}

This time of year can be so busy with end of the school year, graduations, Memorial Day weekend — the list goes on!  For me, one of the ways I’ve learned to stop overextending myself is to figure out my one-stop shops and knock everything off my to-do list in one swoop.  That’s one of the reasons I love shopping at Francesca’s; no matter what outfit I’m looking for or which friend or family member is on my gift list, I know I’ll be able to find an item that’s just what I need.

Today, I’m sharing the pleated skirt that’s perfect to wear to graduation.

What to Wear to Graduation: Pleated Skirt
featured | cold shoulder tank {also comes in olive} + pleated skirt {UNDER $50} + blush block heel {go down half a size} + cat eye sunglasses + howlite and hot pink statement earrings + periwinkle beaded necklace + cognac camera bag {comes in more colors} –all items courtesy of Francesca’s—

Pleated Skirt for Graduation | What’s the Skinny?

Just about every graduation I’ve attended has involved chowing down on some delicious food afterwards, so I knew that I wanted an outfit that was comfortable and flowy.  This colorblock midi skirt caught my eye with the soft colors and pretty pleats.  Bonus: this flowy skirt can easily be transformed into a more casual outfit by pairing it with your favorite knotted tee too.

Pleated Skirt for Graduation | Devil’s in the Details.

The block heel trend makes my feet so happy! These pumps are more comfortable than a traditional blush pump.  The criss cross on the front features some black detailing making these blush block heels easy to mix into your closet.  A good crossbody that can withstand the craziness of summer is such a necessity and I love that this one comes in a ton of different colors with the cute tassel detail on the front.  The adjustable strap makes it possible to wear on the shoulder or across your body and the size is perfect for packing a travel pack of tissue in case you shed a tear when they inevitably play the graduation song.
