One of my favorite packages to get each month is my BoxyCharm. My September BoxyCharm featured five new beauty items. If you’re not familiar with BoxyCharm, it is a monthly beauty subscription box that includes at least 5 full sized, beauty or skincare items valued at at least $100. The box costs $21/month and the September box was SO good!

Beauty Box That Hit It Out of the Park: September BoxyCharm | Shadow Brushes
The September BoxyCharm is my favorite that I’ve received. The brush set is INCREDIBLE, the lip color is perfect for fall, and I really like the blush. Full breakdown below:
- The Ojitos Brush Trio from Alamar Cosmetics, $18 // Okay, give me ALL the makeup brushes. I’m so bad about washing mine but because of how much I dip into various eyeshadow palettes so getting some quality eye brushes was a treat. The fluffy blender brush in this set is SO good, I’ve been using it every time I put makeup on. It’s a great brush for blending the transition shade into the crease.

- Liquid Lipstick from LORAC Cosmetics, $19 // I received the shade ‘Deep Burgundy’ and it was the perfect shade for transitioning my makeup into fall. The lipstick dries matte; while the formula is pigmented, it can apply patchy so be prepared to apply a second or third coat.
- Nightingale Palette from Pretty Vulgar, $35 // This cool toned eyeshadow palette features 12 shades in a mix of mattes and shimmers. I don’t typically purchase cool tones so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this palette. When playing in this palette been using ‘Flip Out’ as my transition shade in the crease, packing ‘Swoop’ into the outer corner and lightly blending that about halfway into the crease and packing ‘Clutch’ all over the lid. Clutch is a super pretty shade but does have some fallout when applying.

- Stroke of Wow Roll On Precision Liner from Butter London, $19 // This was the product I was most excited to try out this month and it really did not do much for me. It may be a matter of practice, but I found using the roller to be more difficult than my felt tip, eyeliner pens. The eyeliner dries pretty shiny which I also didn’t love.
- Blush-N-Brighten from Laura Gellar, $28 // Originally, I thought this wouldn’t be a good color for me and was kind of put off by the highlight mixed in with the blush; I was totally wrong. The color is so pretty and the ‘brighten’ factor isn’t overwhelming or too much. I think this is a color that works well on multiple skin tones.
