Tips for Successfully Completing a No Shop Month

January 31, 2020

Y’all — we made it! January felt approximately 378494012 days long, but we finally are at the end of January.  Earlier this week, I talked about my 2020 word of the year and some financial goals I have for the year.  One of the things I tend to do each January is a no shop month.  It helps me rebuild savings/pay extra on my credit card after extra holiday spending as well as get back in the habit of saving.

5 Ways to Say No & the Beauty of It

October 17, 2019

I am 99% sure I came into this world an introvert.  Too much time in large groups and too many people I don’t know drains me.  And while I spend a lot of time wishing that I were an extroverted, social butterfly — there’s no denying that being an introvert gives you some skills.  And my most valuable skill as I’ve become more self-aware and better understood my personal limits is saying no.  Here’s ways to say no.
