Hi gang! Coming at you with a brand new post today all about the latest beauty products I’ve been trying out.  This includes a new to me subscription box, BoxyCharm!  I just received my July box last week so I haven’t truly had a chance to try out all of those products but wanted to review the June box and share my overall thoughts.  I also have a few other new beauty products I’ve been testing to review so keep reading.

Is BoxyCharm Worth the Hype? Plus New Product Thoughts | What Is BoxyCharm?

BoxyCharm is a monthly beauty subscription box that includes 4-5 full size beauty items valued to be at least $100.  The monthly box costs $21, although signing up for 3-12 month subscription will drop the cost a bit.  Beauty subscription boxes definitely are not a new concept but this is the first one I’ve ever received.  In the past, I’ve always worried that I wouldn’t love everything in a beauty box and that it would end up being cheaper to just directly purchase beauty products that I was interested in.

BoxyCharm was a subscription box I knew about through beauty YouTubers that I follow so I was pretty excited to receive my first box.

Affordable Lipstick?! My Favorite ColourPop Shades

After I wrote about beauty products that I keep repurchasing, a lot of you asked for more about ColourPop and what my favorite lip colors were from the brand. If you’re not familiar with ColourPop, they are a beauty brand that produces super affordable makeup products and tools. Last week, they launched a limited product line at Sephora.

I’ve purchased quite a few of their lipsticks; at $6 they’re drugstore prices with a pigment level that competes with high-end lipsticks. I’m sharing a handful of my favorite shades from the cruelty free brand in three of the different formulas: Ultra Matte, Ultra Satin, and the Lippie Stix.

Affordable Lipstick?! My Favorite ColourPop Shades | More Better

My first ColourPop purchase was a mini set {here’s another mini option!} of the Ultra Matte lipsticks. It’s a great way to try out the product since you get a few different shades. More Better is one of my favorite colors from my set; the berry shade applies evenly with one coat. I get a lot of wear out of this color during the fall months as it’s the perfect wine hue that doesn’t make your teeth look yellow.
