Thursday, I love ya. This week has been a real doozy and all I really want to do is snuggle up in this oversized colorblock cape and forget about it. Ok, and also maybe shop a little bit. Retail therapy is real therapy — don’t tell me otherwise.
Hello hello! How was your long weekend? So far, winter has been oddly mild here and I’ve been taking full advantage by shedding my layers for fun pieces like this ruffled sleeve blouse from SheIn.

This fringe tweed jacket was hands down the new arrival that I was most excited to try on and I loved it. Featuring neatly hidden eye hooks, this piece can be closed at the front or worn open. It’s the first Wednesday in January which means it’s How I Style It! This month, Becky, Della, Tif and I showed up ready to share our winter blues. Can I be super honest? I find getting dressed for winter after the holidays very depressing. There’s so many layers to remember to put on, there’s coats, there’s my poor circulation, you look like a bloated version of the Michelin Tire man all the time — it’s all bad. I know some people’s personal style thrives this time of year, but for me I typically find that all I want is to stay in bed until springtime. Luckily I aded this off the shoulder sweater to my closet and its made getting dressed more fun.
