First December Weekend | What Made My Week:
- A Kentucky basketball win to end the weekend on a good note. After my traditional Sunday family dinner, I got to cheer on the Cats and lounge around.
- I got a PR package from CND with some of their Vinylux Weekly Polish. I’m a big OPI fan so I’m excited to try it out and compare their system to the Infinite Shine polishes that I wear a lot.
- Sorority reports are all in! Praise the Lord, Hallelujah indeed. Between Thanksgiving break and the finals grind, advising life gets tough; I’m super lucky to advise a chapter alongside great women who have my back and keep me sane.
- Jack the Siberian Husky. Y’all, I about died reading this story! This poor Siberian Husky is up for adoption in Pennsylvania but has been banned from the state of Maryland. It made me think of my childhood dog, Rufus, who was also a bit of a troublemaker. {But so cute!}
- Sawyer Bennett releasing a new Cold Fury novel! Not long after we first met, Tif and I bonded over our mutual love for romance novels and figured out that we both read this series. I stayed up {way too} late Wednesday night finishing Van.
- BONUS: It’s December First which means I get to start my David’s Tea advent calendar! My friend Michelle surprised me with it because she knows I’m an old lady that LOVES to drink tea.
Explore Kentucky: 3 Things to do in Louisville
I mentioned a few weeks back that we had family from California visit + so it only feels right to share some of my favorite things to do in Louisville!
Never been to Louisville? Kentucky’s largest city sits right on the Ohio River, was named the best city to start a road trip from, features a wide variety of eclectic restaurants, and overall is just a cool place. Best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby and the heart of the Bourbon Trail, Louisville has a wide variety of places that fit a wide variety of interests.
