I wasn’t initially sold on the scarf as a cardigan trend, but the fringe on this scarf makes the cardigan look so chic and I love the warmth of the blanket shawl. Bonus: this one has super fun colors too!
To pull out some of the fun colors in my wrap, I pulled out my purple and neon pink tassel necklace from Rubenabird – it’s the perfect pop of color to any outfit, but I also love the black and gold option too, if you’re more into neutrals. The shop is currently closed, but will be reopened January 27th!
I paired the blanket wrap with my long sleeve striped tee {did you catch it in this week’s 7 items, 9 outfits post?} that I wear allllllllll the time. Having this neutral patterned piece makes for a fun print mix with the chunky blanket wrap.
The width of this shawl is the perfect length to wear as a cardigan – not too short, not too long and still long enough to belt if you wanted to.

That shawl looks sooo comfy! I have a similar blue one, from Target. I’ve never thought to try wearing it this way. Thank you!

Hey, Nicole, popping over from Instagram and am so glad I checked out your blog. Love your style. Speaking of style, love today’s colorful shawl and pink tassel necklace – so fun! Random side note, I was born and lived in Louisville, well actually the outskirts in Oldham County. I lived there until the seventh grade when my dad was transferred to Chattanooga, TN. 🙂

Thanks for coming by! What a small world. When my family first moved here during my junior year of high school we lived in Prospect, so I’m very familiar with Oldham County! 🙂 Hope you are staying safe and warm today!
