Apologies in advanced for the short and sweet nature of this post.  This weekend was amazing; my younger brother turned 21 & my aunt and cousin flew in from California. It felt so good to uncharge and be surrounded by family.  Another thing that felt good? The cooler weather!  Which is why today I’m sharing how to wear a velvet tee from summer to fall.

The Velvet Tee You Need | What’s the Skinny?

This tee jumped into my cart pretty quickly with the striped sleeves.  The back hem is slightly longer making it ideal to wear with ponte pants or your favorite jeans.  With the fitted sleeves, you may want to size up one.  Lately, I’ve found myself opting for fall hues over summer brights.  Burgundy pairs well with neutrals like black, navy, and olive.

The Velvet Tee You Need | Devil’s in the Details.

First off, can we talk about this nail color?  OPI is my go to brand; I was excited to snag the new Iceland collection before the official launch.  Here I’m wearing the Turn on the Northern Lights shade which is a navy purple shade with pretty gold flecks.

The Cult Gaia bamboo bag has been everywhere all summer long and was one that I knew I wanted to find an affordable dupe for.  My exact bag is just under $25 and is available in a larger size.  To tie in the sporty stripes from the velvet tee, I pulled out my white sneakers.  If you’re looking for an easy shoe for the weekend, be sure to snag a pair.

    I am not big into fashion but love upscaled options. This tee shirt is fantastic and one that I need to look into. Great with jeans as well as dressier pants and skirts. I can see wearing this a lot in the fall.
