Weeee I’m back today with a dressier look that definitely turned some heads the day I wore it but sometimes you just have to be faux real. This white feather jacket is actually faux fur lined around the end of torso and sleeves adding a fun texture to the white tweed number.

So what’s the skinny on the white feather jacket?
It seemed like a fun piece to branch out with! The quality of the fur when I first unpackaged it was not the best — think super matted together. Luckily, when I was steaming the tweed I decided to just go ahead and try steaming the faux fur sections and it helped so much. The jacket does shed quite a bit so while I loved wearing it over one of my little black dresses, I would try and stay away from that unless you want to carry a lint roller with you all day.
The white feather jacket is true to size and has really nice fabric covered push clasps. Most of you know, that I enjoy wearing blazers open and while I can close this one comfortably, it’s not too big to wear open either. If you’re larger chested and want to be able to close the jacket I’d recommend sizing up!
The devil’s in the details:
We HAVE to talk about these earrings. The marketing team at Francesca’s sent them as a Valentine’s Day surprise and I am so smitten. They remind me of BaubleBar’s Crispin Earrings that have been super popular {and are currently sold out!}, but they’re $20 cheaper {everything is buy one, get on 50% right now!} and they’re very lightweight. The first time I went to put these on, I had mentally prepared for achy, sore earlobes and then BOOM, it was like wearing my favorite studs. I’ll definitely be repeating these with how cute and comfortable they are to wear.
