White Lace Top | What’s the Skinny?

This top caught my eye with the three quarter sleeves and delicate cut out lace.  A good white top is such  great piece to add to your closet for summer as the styling possibilities are endless.  With the peekaboo lace, I wondered what the bra situation would look like {just being honest}, but the standard strapless bra worked great with this.  The ruffle detail that doubles over the bust keeps everything covered while the bell sleeves add some flair.

I wanted to create a classic but casual look, so I reached for my nude crossbody.  While this bag is a bit of a splurge, I can tell you that I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth.  Anytime that I’m going out or don’t know what bag I want, this is the one I reach for.  The size is just right and I love that the crossbody strap can be wrapped around the flap to make it a shoulder bag.  {See the shoulder bag look in this post from earlier this week!}

The feminine, neutral look called for fun jewelry to me.  I’m loving the way this top looks with pops of neon so I reached for my neon tassel necklace and a matching bracelet from the Sugarfix collection.  To be completely honest, I wasn’t completely sold on the neon yellow, but I think I’ll get tons of wear out these pieces this summer.  Rounding out my neutrals, I dusted off this pair of fringe wedges from last summer; they’re so comfy with the low wedge and the chestnut color makes them easy to pair with pieces in your closet.
