Gordmans is one of my favorite stores to shop at because I love a good deal and they usually have some of the brands I love for less than retail. While shopping there is always a treasure hunt, I did go to the store with a couple items on my list — like this leopard teddy coat! This has been one of the HOT clothing pieces this winter so I went to my local Gordmans knowing that I was on the lookout for one.
What to Wear From Winter to Spring with Gordmans | The Leopard Coat
Just as I was getting ready to walk out of the store after doing a couple of loops through, I spotted this leopard faux fur coat. There was only ONE left and it was in my size, what are the odds?! Imagine me frantically throwing off my cardigan so I could be sure this fit before doing a happy dance in the middle of the store.

What to Wear From Winter to Spring with Gordmans | How to Wear It
The outfit possibilities with this piece are endless! While leopard is most definitely a neutral in my book, I think this coat calls for a little more care to avoid over print mixing. I love it paired over a chic, all black outfit; throw it on over your favorite little black dress for spring. My second look with the leopard teddy coat is perfect for March Madness. Cheering on Kentucky basketball is one of my favorite spring activities so I paired it with a cobalt long sleeve tee for a school spirited, but still stylish look.

What to Wear From Winter to Spring with Gordmans | The Snakeskin Trend
Snakeskin is having a MOMENT right now. When I first try a trend out, I often like to start small with accessories. For that exact reason, I was super excited to find this BCBG snakeskin crossbody at my local Gordmans. With the grays, blacks, and whites, I know that this snakeskin handbag will be a piece that I can wear with a ton of items already in my closet. This spring, I plan to wear it with more of my bold and jewel toned clothes.

What to Wear From Winter to Spring with Gordmans | Menswear Inspired
Blazers have always been an item I’m very particular about. I don’t like the shoulders to be too boxy and want to look professional but feminine. Enter this plaid blazer! This piece is easy to dress up or down; again, pair this over your favorite little black dress for spring at the office and know that you’ll already be dressed for the weekend too.

What to Wear From Winter to Spring with Gordmans | Wear Now & Later
The cropped sleeves on this plaid blazer make it a piece you can wear now and later. Pair it with a soft pastel, like the dusty rose long sleeve tee, or go classic and throw it over a basic black or white tank for spring weekends out with friends. With the longer length, this piece is easy to wear with leggings and has potential for tons of different outfits!
