You might be surprised to see today’s blog post title and to be completely honest so am I.  Finding a romper that fits my top and bottom half can prove to be a challenge, but this one fit and was too cute to pass on.

Yellow Romper | What’s the Skinny?

The colors in this long sleeve, floral romper are so bright that I immediately wanted to try this on, but figured it was a piece that wouldn’t work.  Surprise — it did!  I immediately knew I wanted to take this one piece home with me with that hot pink in the flowers and flattering fit of the romper.  I’m a sucker for bold colors so it didn’t take much convincing from my friend that this romper needed to find a home in my closet.  The colors are so rich and I love that this shade of yellow will work well into fall as well.rre  {Think about how fab it’ll look with a blazer!}

Yellow Romper | Devil’s in the Details.

Another reason this romper jumped out at me in store?  The purple in the floral print is a perfect match for my Love Crossbody.  I opted to remove the chain from the leather crossbody bag so that I could carry it as a clutch for an easy look that’s perfect for date night.  With the wrap front, I wanted a fun statement necklace that would fill the v neckline for a fun touch.  This blush bib necklace from the Sugarfix collection is adjustable and at the shortest length worked perfectly with the neckline of my yellow romper.
